Recycler of the Year Awards:

WSRA presents annual Recycler of the Year awards to spotlight individuals, businesses, government agencies and community organizations that are making outstanding contributions to strengthening and expanding recycling and waste prevention practices across the state.

2012 Recyclers of the Year and Recycling Hall of Fame inductees will be highlighted at WRSA’s awards banquet on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at our annual conference and trade show (April 29- May 2 at Spokane’s historic Davenport Hotel).View the press release announcing the 2012 award recipients.

Typical award categories include individual recycler, the Nucor recycling business award, public agency, institution, non-profit, commercial generator, public education, event recycling, composting, and innovation.

The WSRA Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made outstanding long-term contributions to recycling in Washington State. New inductees areselected by a committee of Hall of Fame members and spotlighted at the annual awards banquet each May.
